At last-thanks to Jack Haskell who designed this web site we are again able to post our comments in this guest book. Shipmates are invited to read the TJ's history, which is part of this site, and refresh your memory of the events that occurred while you served on board. Hopefully you will then relate some sea stories to this guest book.

My pride in the ship and crew was further enhanced by the fact that I, at one time, served as Aide to VAdm Joy at the U. S. Naval Academy from 1952-1954. I hope all fellow shipmates will take the time to join as a member of the Turner Joy Reunion Group. Thank you - R.S. Wentworth Jr.RADM. U.S.... Read more
